RedWave Technology has introduced the XplorIR, a portable FT-IR spectroscopy gas-identification system developed for emergency response applications. The XplorIR can identify over 5500 gases at low part per million (ppm) concentrations. The XplorIR can identify many dangerous gases, including toxic industrial compounds (TICs), flammables, corrosives, industrial gases and other chemicals at operationally relevant levels.
