The ElvaX ProSpector 3 from Elvatech is the next generation of their hand-held XRF spectrometer series. It weighs just over 1 kg with its battery, which can last for up to 16 hours and the instrument measures 236 × 193 × 68 mm. There are two CCD cameras for macro and micro viewing, combined with an automatic collimator. The instrument body is dustproof and waterproof with an IP-67 protection level. Image autorotation allows the analyser to be operated in both horizontal and vertical positions.
