SCIEX’s Echo® mass spectrometry system is now commercially available. The system uses acoustic ejection of droplets from sample well plates into the Open Port Interface, which connects to the mass spectrometry. This provides ultra-high sample throughput: it can analyse up to three samples per second with quantitative results. This enables projects previously requiring weeks of analysis to be completed in days. Echo also enables high standards of quantitation with consistent and precise reproducibility, even in challenging matrices.
