Agilent and the National University of Ireland open a biological mass spectrometry facility

Agilent Technologies and the National University of Ireland (NUI), Galway have announced the opening of a biological mass spectrometry facility on the NUI Galway campus. The facility is equipped with accurate-mass Q-ToF and triple quad mass spectrometers and will primarily focus on functional genomics, proteomics, lipidomics and metabolomics research. Bruker Daltonics receives orders for its 12 T and 15 T FT-MS systems

Bruker Daltonics has installed its latest 12 T and 15 T FT-MS systems in the laboratory of Professor Andre Deelder at the Leiden University Medical Center, The Netherlands. The 15 T instrument will be the highest field FT-MS system in Europe, and the combination of these two systems will be the first of its kind in the world.
