6th BMSS Ambient Ionisation Special Interest Group (SIG) Meeting

 6 February 2020 to 6 February 2020
United Kingdom

The Ambient Ionisation Special Interest Group was set-up to promote the development of new ambient ionisation techniques and the application of ambient ionisation to solve analytical challenges. Our previous meetings have attracted delegates from across Europe and as far away as the USA and Mexico. We have also had some of the key leaders in the ambient field, such as Professor Zoltan Takats, Professor Sarah Trimpin and Dr Chip Cody, deliver the most interesting lectures.

Our next meeting will be on the 6th February 2020 at the University of Surrey. There will be a series of exciting lectures covering a range of ambeint ionisation related work, a poster session which will be an excellent opportunity for great discussions, and an exhibition to find out the latest commercial products. As always, early career researchers and students will be encouraged to deliver lectures and posters, with the Pete Ryan prize awarded to the best presentation.
