Hydra C mercury analyser
Teledyne Leeman Labs has announced the release of its Hydra-C direct mercury analyser, providing a simple, fast and convenient approach to the measurement of mercury in a variety of samples without any sample pre-treatment. The analyser employs US EPA Method 7473 for both laboratory and field analysis for mercury in solids and solutions using thermal decomposition, amalgamation and atomic absorption spectrophotometry. Features include no sample digestion, no hazardous chemical waste and a high capacity autosampler which holds up to 70 samples. Applications include analysis of soils, sediments, geologicals, coal, foundry scrap, plastics, cement, sewage/sludge, blood, paints, animal and marine tissues, tobacco and vegetation.
