Oriel has introduced two high-performance cameras, the InstaSpec ISX CCD and the InstaSpec ISX IR. Both cameras are available with new InstaSpec Pro software which provides complete system control of single or dual camera configurations and all the functions of any Oriel spectrograph. Output from one or two cameras can be joined via Oriel's “stich and glue” function to provide a single graphic display output of the acquired spectrum. The data format allows easy export to other packages for additional post-processing tasks and the software featues auto-calibration for the spectrograph and the installed cameras, plus integrated pop-up help to facilitate set-up.
