Model 360 flame photometer

The Model 360 flame photometer from Sherwood Scientific is a single-channel unit built around the same mixing chamber, burner stem and burner head found in their Model 410. It also incorporates the advanced automatic flame optimisation technology from the dual–channel 410 series, making it more stable, less noisy and with lower limits of detection than would be expected in a cost-effective instrument. Features include ease of operation, ensured by the ergonomic design which places all the controls, pressure gauge, air regulator and sample introduction on the front of the instrument, a large sample work area with a spill containment tray for easy removal and cleaning, LEDs on the front panel which indicate the filter selected—sodium, potassium, lithium, calcium or barium—and the flame status and a “hold” button which ensures that readings are not lost and the peak picker function presents unambiguous results.
