EQuan Max LC-MS solution
Thermo has announced the launch of EQuan Max, an automated high-throughput LC-MS solution for the analysis of contaminants in water and beverages. The system offers new screening and quantitative capabilities that provide system flexibility and productivity. It combines with the Exactive LC-MS, a high-resolution benchtop system powered by Orbitrap technology, designed for screening of target and non-target compounds. It can also be used with the full range of TSQ triple stage quadrupole mass spectrometers. It provides a comprehensive solution for the analysis of pesticides, pharmaceuticals, personal care products, endocrine disruptors and perfluorinated compounds in environmental water, drinking water and beverages. With EQuan Max, samples are directly injected for LC-MS analysis, eliminating the need for off-line sample pre-concentration. Its online sample preparation technique reduces time from days to minutes, designed to increase lab productivity.
