Geoscience handleheld FT-IR
A2 Technologies now offer their portable hand-held FT-IR systems optimised for geoscience applications including compositional analysis of rocks, minerals and soils.
The Exoscan and FlexScan systems offer the ruggedness and performance that are necessary for field-based geoscience applications. Equipped with a diffuse reflectance sampling interface, these systems provide detailed molecular analysis of granular soil or rough rock samples with no sample preparation needed. The Exoscan system has an optional docking station to serve as a benchtop lab system. The lightweight FlexSan system is suitable for at-site analysis of samples over large areas where many measurements are required.A2 Technologies
