i-LAB sample adaptors
MicrOptix Technologies has launched a new family of sample adaptors for the i-LAB hand held analysing spectrometer, which opens up a wide array of visible and NIR range measurement possibilities for i-LAB users.
Along with the conventional cuvette and round vials for liquid measurements, the adaptors allow the i-LAB to conduct surface colour measurements on solids. The hand-held spectrometer enables users to conduct rapid testing of solid surfaces and liquids in the process plant, the laboratory and/or in the field, performing real-time measurements in the visible light range from 400 nm to 700 nm. An NIR version is scheduled for early 2010. It utilises the company's integrated sensing system that enables spectrometry quality measurements in a hand-held package and is energy efficient as it uses LEDs as a light source and is powered by three AA batteries.MicrOptix Technologies LLC
