Millex 13mm syringe filter
Millipore Corporation has announced the introduction of their redesigned Millex 13 mm sample preparation syringe filter to provide improved filtration speed and recovery. The filter utilises a housing design that withstands higher operating pressures to allow faster filtration.
In addition, the new device is low in extractables that can be detected by sensitive analytical instruments and has less sample hold-up volume so that more sample is recovered after filtration. It can be used to prepare from 1 mL to 10 mL of sample, is available in two pore sizes and four membrane materials: polyethersulphone, polytetrafluorethylene, nylon and polyvinylidene fluoride. The housing is colour-coded by membrane type for easy identification. The device is compatible with a wide range of solvents and other chemicals, making it suitable for all analytical applications and sample types.Millipore SA
