SFT-100 XW Extraction system

Supercritical Fluid Technologies has launched the SFT-100XW supercritical fluid extraction system. This new, mid-scale SFE was developed to investigate the feasibility of applying supercritical fluid techniques to various analyses, processing challenges and QC/QA applications.

The system is a fully functional instrument, designed to perform extractions in a supercritical fluid media. Dual sapphire syringe pump technology accurately pressurises its stainless steel vessel which is capable of containing supercritical fluids at pressures up to 10,000 psi. It can accommodate pressure vessels up to 500?mL capacity and may be configured to run with multiple vessels. An integrated pre-heater ensures the consistent temperature of the fluid delivered to the extraction vessel, ensuring consistent and repeatable results. An optional co-solvent pump extends the versatility of the system by enabling extraction of moderately polar compounds.
