The new SimPlus software from Perten Instruments allows users to monitor and administrate multiple DA 7200 instruments (on-site or remote installations) from one location, access data and results, update calibrations and create reports.

The software enables QC management to track production results from multiple facilities immediately, purchasing departments to monitor ingredient quality and evaluate suppliers, production managers to access necessary analyses to optimise production to tighten limits and meet targets, NIR support staff to monitor calibration performance and update instruments remotely without the need for local intervention and ensure report generation is flexible by selecting results by date, time, site, product and presenting the data in graphs, tables or export to other applications. For feed manufacturers, the software offers the added benefit of integration with formulation software packages. Products can be formulated on what is actually received in bins as opposed to averages or ingredient COAs.
