Biochrom has introduced its Asys UVM340 microplate reader. The monochromator-based plate reader selects any wavelength between 340 nm and 800 nm at 1 nm intervals to measure absorbance. It is suitable for ELISA and other absorbance appliances without having to purchase extra filters or change instruments to perform different assays. It uses a single-channel microplate reader that can read 12-96 well plates, giving greater flexibility for plate formatting. Front loading allows easy integration into automated systems and a compact footprint saves bench space. All plate readers are CE marked and manufactured under rigorous quality systems.
