Photonis has introduced a new Microchannel plate product group, optimised for time-of-flight mass spectrometry measurements. The TruFlite products are designed to reduce two of the most common issues with instrument
performance in ToF mass spectrometry: ion arrival time and time jitter. The TruFlite line optimises surface flatness of the MCP and channel size and bias angle to improve the resolution. The TruFlite line will be offered in both 18 mm and 25 mm active areas, and custom detector assemblies.
